Spicy Beef & Broccoli Bowl | High Protein Meal Ideas

Does this even count as a recipe!? It's so easy!


You will need:

  • Ground beef

  • Chilli oil (I use Momofuku Crunch from Publix, Trader Joes also has a great spicy chilli oil!)

  • Broccoli (fresh or frozen)

  • Jasmin Rice

  • Kimchi


Directions:

  1. Start your rice first as this step will take the longest.

  2. Bring a large skillet to medium heat and add in about a tablespoon of chili oil .

  3. Brown your ground beef and drain excess liquid.

  4. Add in broccoli and cook to desired tenderness, I like my broccoli to have a bit of crunch so I only cook it for about 5 minutes.

  5. Now that your meat and broccoli are both cooked they're ready to go! If you find that your beef is sticking to your skillet at all, add in a few tablespoons of beef broth or water while temp is still high.

  6. Serve over jasmine rice and garnish with kimchi or spicy mayo (make your own with equal parts mayonnaise, siracha and a touch of soy sauce or teriyaki sauce).

  7. Enjoy!
